The Gold Coast’s most prestigious new waterfront address, Cannes Waterfront, is now complete, marking a new era in luxury living.
Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate officiated the ribbon cutting ceremony today (Wednesday July 13) celebrating the official opening of French Riviera-inspired residential project on one of the last absolute riverfront sites midway between Broadbeach & Surfers Paradise.
“Cannes Waterfront is a great example of a medium density development that helps provide housing options and choices for locals to downsize, upgrade or purchase their first home,” Mayor Tate said.
“The completion of this building is great news for the Gold Coast, offering residents a stunning riverfront position that would normally be reserved for the select few,’’ he said.
The Marquee Development Partners project was the number one selling apartment complex on the Gold Coast in 2020 in the face of COVID-19, with 97 residences snapped up by local downsizers and a handful of investors prior to construction with prices ranging from $554,900 to $2.3 million.
Sales Director Azura Griffen said it was an exciting milestone for Marquee to complete its latest Gold Coast project, its fourth completed on the coast.
“After being held for over 60 years by one family as a unique waterfront sanctuary, it’s easy to see why this property is so special,’’ Mrs Griffen said.
“The response from buyers was incredibly strong, with all apartments now settled and the first residents moving into their new homes.”
Mrs Griffen said owners would enjoy the utmost level of quality and residents’ amenity all in an unrivalled location with deep water frontage on a premium bend of the Nerang River.
