Queensland developer Marquee has completed a $65 million sell-out of its Freshwater Place Griffin residential land division in the booming Moreton Bay region, providing critical housing in Brisbane’s northern outskirts.
Buyers seized on the opportunity to live in Freshwater Place due to the positioning of the project as the prime residential precinct within Wattle Run’s Freshwater Hub master-planned community, with all 126 lots snapped up and settled within 18 months of launch.
Marquee’s home building partner Urbane Homes is currently delivering the majority of homes within the project with 50 homes already completed and most families moved in.

The most expensive house-and-land package sold was $1.18 million, highlighting the prime positioning of Freshwater Place as the sole residential offering within the emerging Freshwater Hub.

Freshwater Hub is a master-planned community that includes Freshwater Village, a new commercial and community heart comprising a Woolworths supermarket, medical centre, pharmacy and speciality tenancies, as well as a Piazza, Urban Arts Square, leisure and activity centre and produce farm. Construction of Freshwater Hub has commenced with civil works now underway.
