Marquee has welcomed the Queensland Government’s announcement to double Round Two funding under the Residential Activation Fund (RAF) from $500 million to $1 billion, a significant step towards accelerating housing delivery and supporting Queensland’s growing communities.
The announcement was made yesterday at Vale, Burpengary, a masterplanned community being delivered by Marquee in partnership with LH Property Partners (LHPP), with homes throughout the community constructed by Urbane Homes.
The event brought together Premier David Crisafulli, Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie, local councillors and industry representatives to highlight the importance of infrastructure investment in unlocking new housing opportunities across Queensland.
The Residential Activation Fund is designed to support critical infrastructure such as roads, water, sewerage and stormwater infrastructure, helping remove barriers to residential development and bringing more housing supply to market sooner.
