Cannes offers 96 two, three and four-bedroom apartments on a rare absolute waterfront site, with deep-water frontage and just minutes from the beach.
Unrivalled in on-site amenities, Cannes offers everything from a 25-metre lap pool to a riverside bocce court.
Also available to residents are a sauna, sunset bar and barbecue area, not to mention the building’s rooftop amenities, which include a gym, wellness centre, yoga terrace, hydrotherapy shower, zen garden and massage beds.
The list goes on: also included is a firepit and, facing the ocean, a private dining area, billiards table and library.
Interiors feature floor-to-ceiling windows to capitalise on view corridors, and conservative colour schemes based around concrete tiling and timber finishes.
Kitchens are outfitted with engineered stone benchtops, Miele appliances and integrated fridges and dishwashers.
Residential sales manager for Marquee Development Partners Azura Griffen said the project’s location made for a rare real estate opportunity.
“For you to buy on Main River with all these amenities, you’d have to be paying something like $5 million to $10 million. [Cannes] is priced well in terms of value for money and square meterage,” she said.
“You’re sitting in this quiet, leafy enclave which is absolute riverfront, and you’re on that deep-water access and you’ve got a massive, 90-metre frontage.
“It’s the last site between Broadbeach and Main Beach at the moment under development, where you can literally walk six minutes to the beach.
“There’s a lot of connectivity, even though you don’t feel like you’re in the hustle and bustle of it all, and you’ve got lots of nice walking areas. It’s a really good lifestyle choice.”
Although aimed at local downsizers, the development has attracted some investors too, although only long-term letting is permitted.
Prices start at $640,000 for a two-bedroom east-facing apartment, and range to $2.55 million for a luxurious four-bedroom penthouse.
Apartments range in size from 86 square metres for two bedrooms up to 261 square metres for penthouses.
The development is slated for completion in late 2021 to early 2022.
Cannes can be found at 17 Cannes Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Queensland.
