Tony had been looking for the perfect apartment on the Gold Coast for over four years, once he saw The Catalina with its central location, spacious floor plans, and five-star resident’s amenities, he knew he had found it.
Tony opted for a south-west facing, 3-bedroom apartment halfway up the building with an abundance of space, sweeping river views & a feature dry-bar.
“The thing that appealed to me about the Type 9 apartment in The Catalina, firstly, was the very generous space, incredible attention to detail, and on top of that you’ve got these superlative views of the Nerang River and city skyline thanks to the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that wrap around the apartment.”
As a downsizer, Tony was accustomed to having plenty of space to relax, unwind and exercise, he didn’t like the idea of giving up his hobbies to move into an apartment. Tony fell in love with The Catalina for the abundance of resident’s amenities, especially the pool and sauna, he was excited that he could enjoy apartment living without giving the things he loved.
“The amenities that appeal to me in The Catalina, certainly first and foremost are the lap pool and sauna. I am very much someone who uses those facilities now and I’d hate to have to give them up if I moved to an apartment building without them.”
Buying an apartment off the plan was beneficial for Tony, as it allowed him the time to sell his current home before finalising his purchase at The Catalina. He found purchasing off the plan a seamless process and found comfort in being able to see the high-end finishes in a recently completed building nearby.
“Marquee had just opened their Stanhill building, which gave me the confidence to purchase as I could see great design and the high-quality finishes they deliver.”
