As south-east Queensland continues to experience historic levels of wet weather, we are beginning to see the impact this is having across the construction industry, with the majority of projects experiencing delays due to poor conditions onsite.
We’ve experienced one of the wettest starts to the year in over 30 years, with over 1500mm of rainfall so far. This has impacted the earthworks with the site being unworkable for the past few weeks. Despite the weather, the crews have pushed forward with a temporary generator now onsite, as well as pouring of the pool shell & temporary driveway off Garrick Street.
The tower crane was erected last week, allowing the capping beam to be poured and excavation to commence.
Rest assured we are doing everything in our power to deliver SOL as quickly as possible without compromising on our high standards of quality.
